How the Smell Actually Gets Removed
Sprays and “odour bombs” cover smells for a week. Ozone oxidizes the odour molecules themselves — in the air, and soaked into carpet, drywall and fabric.
1 — Clean First
Odour lives in residue. We clean the surfaces holding it — or fold the treatment into the turnover clean you're already doing — so the ozone works on what's left, not on dirt.
2 — Sealed Ozone Treatment
Commercial ozone generators run in the sealed, unoccupied space. No people, pets or plants inside during treatment — ever. Depending on severity, a unit typically runs several hours to overnight.
3 — Air Out & Verify
We ventilate the space until ozone fully dissipates back to normal air, then verify the result nose-first before handover. You get before/after photos and a treatment summary for your file.

How do you remove smoke odour from a house or apartment?
Clean the residue, then oxidize what's absorbed: sealed commercial ozone treatment followed by a full air-out. That combination removes the odour itself instead of covering it — which is why the smell doesn't creep back the way it does after sprays.
How long does ozone treatment take?
Most single rental units run several hours to overnight, sealed and unoccupied, plus ventilation time. We schedule around turnovers so the unit is ready for showings within about 48 hours of the clean starting.
Is ozone treatment safe?
During treatment the space must be empty — that's why it's sealed, with no people, pets or plants inside while it runs. Afterwards, ozone breaks back down into ordinary oxygen; we ventilate and only hand the space back once it has fully dissipated.
Is the smell gone permanently?
Ozone destroys the odour molecules present in the space. If the source returns — a new smoker, new moisture — new odour is created. The treated smell itself doesn't come back.
